Provided below is a summary of our major Brooklawn S.A. events, in chronological order...

S.A. PENNY WARS September 29-October 15, 2008 This fundraiser is the primary effort we do in support of the NJASC State Charity. In just two weeks we collect over 200,000 pennies, and about $1000 in other change as the classes compete for Spirit Points and homeroom pizza parties.
S.A. MAGAZINE DRIVE October 28-December 2, 2008 This fundraiser is used to support program expenses and keep overall Student Activity costs down for all students. For more information about QSP, the company with whom we do this fundraiser, please visit www.qsp.com.
B.I.G. NIGHT November 20-21, 2008 An event truly like no other, Brooklawn's Intense Games bring together over 400 students, parents, teachers, and alumni. It's the B.I.G.-gest event of its kind just about anywhere... NJASC TOP TEN PROJECT 2001 NASC NATIONAL SPOTLIGHT PROJECT 2005
S.A. TRIP TO MEDIEVAL TIMES December 10, 2008 This annual eighth grade S.A. Trip provides an enjoyable graduating class bonding experience before the usual end-of-year activities. This evening trip includes the tournament show, dinner, and time to dance and socialize afterward. Forms and payment for this trip are collected in October.
BACK IN THE DAY CONTEST December 9-18, 2008 This fundraiser, where students buy booklets and try to guess baby or childhood pictures of their teachers, supports the NJASC State Charity...
CANNED FOOD DRIVE January 26-February 13, 2009 This annual service learning project supports the Morristown Community Food Bank, and the winning homeroom gets to "Can Cleary"!
VOLLEYBALL NIGHT AT BROOKLAWN January 29, 2009 This double-loss elimination tournament is extremely competitive and benefits the NJASC State Charity. The winning team gets 10 Yankees or Mets tickets... NJASC TOP TEN PROJECT 2006
B.L.T. SATURDAY February 27-28, 2009 B.L.T. stands for "Brooklawn's Leadership Training", our own mini-Leadership Training Confernce that involves over 150 students from elementary, middle, and high schools in Parsippany and all over New Jersey... ALMOST MIDNIGHT DANCE/BARBECUE May 15, 2009 This special dance for seventh and eighth graders goes until 11:00 p.m. and includes an all you can eat barbecue, great music on our sound system, plus the annual "Say What Karaoke" Contest.
S.A. TRIP TO YANKEE STADIUM T.B.D. Each year we take two buses to Yankee Stadium to see a game. The trip fee includes one ticket (tier box or reserved), bus transportation, and parking. Forms and payment are collected in February or March.
S.A. TRIP TO DORNEY PARK June 2, 2009 Our annual eighth grade S.A. Trip to Dorney Park provides our soon to graduate class a great day of roller coasters, water rides, and overall fun. The trip fee includes full admission to Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom, an all-you-can-eat barbecue lunch, and bus transportation. Forms and payment are collected in March and April.
